Benefits – Participants of Leadership Germantown will:

• Interact with key players, at all levels of leadership, from across the sectors within our community to examine different approaches to leadership.
• Obtain multiple perspectives on issues facing our businesses, services, political, and other components of our community.
• Gain insight into the operations of Germantown’s political, recreational, educational, civic, corporate and non-profit organizations.
• Explore social and economic issues.
• Discover community resources, opportunities and challenges.
• Increase their ability to investigate, think outside-the box, and build consensus to create and execute innovate solutions.
• Cultivate communication and networks between people with different experiences and world views.
• Reflect upon their own values, philosophies, prejudices and beliefs
• Uncover their own styles, strengths and preferences
• Consider issues that may impact our community in the next 10, 15, 20 years from now and how they could be addressed today.
• Expand their social/political/business networks with a wide range of individuals working in the private, public and non-profit sectors whose experience and expertise they can draw upon to enhance their professional and community activities.

After participating in the program, participants are more empowered to take on opportunities that will build and enhance the quality across our community.  Regardless of the skill/experience level at which one enters this program, the take-aways for all at the end of this journey are priceless!!
