Letter from our President

Welcome to Leadership Germantown!

Over the past eight years, more than 130 Leadership Germantown graduates have completed over 30 community service projects. Many of these projects deliver community benefits long after the eight month program. You can read details of some of these great projects on our website.

More importantly, our program has helped our alumni sharpen their leadership skills and build community based networks, focusing their passions for the betterment of our community.

I am proud of our organization and humbly honored to be leading your Board of Directors. Our two past Presidents, Cherie Maris, and Rock Evenson, along with the rest of the Board have built a wonderful organization. Elaine Schmeda and our excellent cadre of facilitators deliver a professional leadership training program focused on effecting positive change in our community.

Our participants remain the core of our mission. They come from all walks and stages of life yet they all share an intense desire to serve our community.

Over the next two years, we will focus on making the program even better. We will do this by reaching out to a wider audience of local businesses and enhancing our alumni network while enhancing and improving our curriculum.
