Letter from our President

What exciting times these are for Leadership Germantown!!  Since our inception just six years ago, over 100 participants have completed the program with 25 service projects rolled out to the community. Projects that have no doubt enhanced the quality of life and caliber of services to our schools, our businesses, and our service organizations.

I am truly honored to serve as the next President of the Leadership Germantown Board of Directors. Rock Evenson has provided exceptional leadership during his term as President, and I am thankful for the opportunity of having developed my own skills from his leadership examples. I am further inspired by the tireless support and contributions of our highly talented and very dedicated Board of Directors. As I step into this role, I am motivated knowing this time will be well spent working with caring leaders who share a strong vision – to build a great community you must empower the people within it. The power of this shared vision has indeed been realized by participants as well as by the numerous organizations and businesses within our community who have benefited from the resulting projects.

I enter this position humbled from the knowledge of what it has taken to build the Leadership Germantown program to its current level of success; inspired by the Boards’ continued passion for progress; thankful for the opportunity to serve an awesome group of giving individuals; and determined to provide the type of leadership that will build upon current successes and benefits that Leadership Germantown brings to our community!
