Who Participates?

Participants come from all sectors of our community, bringing richly diverse levels of leadership and community experience to the program.

Applicants to the Leadership Germantown program must possess:

• Strong personal initiative and motivation
• Leadership experience or evidence of leadership potential/desire
• Strong desire to make active leadership contributions
• Ability to work well independently and within a diverse
  group Intellectual curiosity
• Commitment to participate in all scheduled sessions

 

Time Commitment – Participation in Leadership Germantown requires a dedicated commitment of time, resources, energy and complete participation. From September to May participants are required to attend all scheduled sessions including: Orientation, Road Rally, one full day session per month through April, and the commencement banquet in May.

Investment –To be eligible for this program, participants must have a “residency interest” by either living or working in or near the Germantown community. Participants are encouraged to seek employer support and sponsorship. Through generous contributions by many businesses within our community, the participation fee for this opportunity is greatly reduced.
